PATHWAY IN DEVELOPMENT

Ready for Life & Work

A proposed teen career-readiness pathway for school, community, and agency partnerships. Designed to connect confidence, creative projects, and practical workplace skills.

We are developing a 12-week pilot with two 90-minute sessions per week. The final scope will be agreed with each host or funding partner.

01 / Build confidence

Strengths, communication, introductions, teamwork, receiving feedback, and personal goals.

02 / Practice work skills

Planned modules include resumes, professional email, mock interviews, digital organization, and career exploration.

03 / Create & take responsibility

Use a business, arts, design, or storytelling project to practice budgets, deadlines, quality checks, and presentations.

04 / Plan the next step

Build a portfolio and individual action plan. Employer visits, education referrals, and further work experiences depend on secured partnerships.

Progress we plan to document

Attendance, completed projects, resume drafts, budgeting exercises, pre/post skills assessments, and individual next-step plans. This pathway is enrichment and readiness training; it does not currently promise paid internships, industry credentials, or job placement.
